Bulgaria is an attractive tourist destination for a large number of international tourists. This is due to the fact that in our country there are many factors supporting the development of tourism, namely a favorable climate, geographical location, diverse relief, access to the sea, mineral healing springs, resorts with luxury hotels, historical and cultural attractions. – Northwestern – the region includes the Pre-Balkans, parts of the Danube Plain, the western part of Stara Planina. The most attractive conditions in the area are its diverse relief, the Danube River, the settlements with historical significance. The area is good for family, educational, fishing, hunting tourism, water sports and other tourist activities. The main tourist cities are Vidin, Belogradchik, Vratsa, Kozloduy, Berkovitsa, etc.
– Rhodope-Plovdiv – covers the Plovdiv-Pazardzhik field and Western Rhodopes. In the region there are mineral waters, architectural reserves, forest massifs, ethno-cultural features of the population, a fair, dams, etc. This contributes to the development of balneotherapy, educational, recreational, hiking, hunting, congress tourism, etc. Ski sports, water sports, caving, etc. are also developed. The main centers are Devin, Velingrad, Chepelare, Smolyan, Batak, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv and others.
